Here is a "fancy pants" rig I made for a friend,,,

The recipient of this rig is a good friend of mine,,,
He is an Academic Counselor at Oklahoma State University.

His name is Lance Millis,,,
In 1980-1981 he was Pistol Pete,,,
The mascot for Oklahoma State University.

I found out the mascots do not get a souvenir of there experience,,,
So, being a graduate of the OSU Saddle-Making Program,,,
I decided to make a little token of friendship for him.

Now I make rigs for all the Pistol Pete mascots,,,
They deserve a good memory piece of their experience.

It's kind of silly to make real rigs for toy guns,,,
But what the heck, it was fun. :D

Nice rigs everyone.Aarond you did some very nice work.

When I do do holsters and gunrigs they are usually contemporary, but I have made a few Western holsters and have a couple of rigs coming up.Dave

This holster was just made for my hide dealer the "Ostrich Market" to show some of the Alligator products.

One of my customers/friends made and gifted me these three rigs, the top two for me and the last one for my wife

This is some of the finest leather I've seen on any of the sites I frequent. The one with the "Ace of Snakes" is just awesome. All of them are really very, very nice.

Thanks for sharing these pictures.

The Alligator one should be on display somewhere. My living in the Cajun heartland makes me partial to Alligator, I hope you ate him after skinning him!

Bobby Jindal might like that one! He's probably going to need a crossdraw as well before this is all over.

Damn Fingers, if you keep it up they well be putting cows on the endangered species list. Those are mighty fine looking rigs. Being the cheap bast...er.. guy I am I opted for some Mexican leather.

Beautiful rigs, fellas. Say, is anybody interested in adopting a son? Brother? Father? No?

EDIT: Got my new holster yesterday. Pretty as a shiny new silver dollar, I think! Fits my .36 Remington like a glove:

They're sure are some beautiful rigs there aarondgraham, as are yours Dave Cole :). You're both very talented. I also like your double shoulder rig MCB, I've got a pair of pistols that would fit in it real good :D

I prefer the term frugal MCB . None of my rigs ran that much. Of course, if I were to sell them, the price would be dear .
