Family Reunion Skeet Shooting!

One side of my family, the kissin' cousin side, just had a reunion. About 100 or so were there for the swimmin', shaving cream fightin', and other assorted fun and games. Guess who got to be in charge of the skeet shooting? :D

About 15 or 20 of us shot up a couple of hundred pigeons, but the important part was that an easy 1/3 were women! They've all been around guns most of their lives, so it was no big deal to grab a 20 gauge and pop a couple. Two of the younger ones (teenagers) had never shot before, but seemed to enjoy it, and of course, I invited them to call me anytime for a visit to the range! Wow, if I could get them to become enthusiasts, then we could get another hundred or so men involved. (Yep, they are lookers - and single, I think)! I'll do what I can.

Just thought I'd brag on my family for a bit.
Thanks for listening, friends.

TMoney,
What a great idea.....I,m going to steal your idea and use it at the next family reunion.
I think most of my family are into guns but if not then perhaps I can snag a fence sitters. ;)
Thanks for sharing.

My Dad and I had already planned to take some of our out-of-town relatives to the *trap* (not skeet! ewww) range when they come. It should be really interesting as they are from Massachusetts. We were going to be mean and hand him some 3 1/2" mags...but I honestly think it might injure him enough to warrent a trip to the hospital. But the look on his face...might be worth it! :D

Taking relatives shooting -- this idea might just catch on!
