Just heard on the ch 11 news at 10pm that the mayor of Ft Worth said there would be no more gun shows at city owned buildings. They said there were 14 gun shows there last year. I know they own the Convention Center but what about Amon Carter? Any other cities saying the same?

Dallas doesnt sell ammo at the Dallas Convention Center but will sell you a beer. (or used to, you have to pay to park there now, havent been back in awhile)Market Hall sells ammo but no beer. Market Hall is privately owned so go figure. The Dallas area is a good place for shows right now. There is one in either Dallas or Ft Worth or one of the burbs almost every month. I wonder how much longer this will continue?

Plan on them going on for a while. All the shows that Ft. Worth refuses to host will just move 20 miles east to Dallas. Market Hall and the Convention Center make money off of every show, plus the city makes money on hotel room, money spent in stores, etc. they'll host all the shows they can fit into their schedule.
