Be warned, falling block rifles are additive. I bought my first, an Uberti 1885 High Wall in .38/55 and I was hooked. My second, also an Uberti is in 45/70 was purchased a few years latter. The 35/55 is a great "let's go and shoot 100 rounds today" gun as the recoil is mild where as the 45/70 is a bit more harsh. I load both to black powder velocities (1300 fps +/-) using smokeless powder and they are outstanding in their performance. I had outfitted both guns with soule target sights and I was totally impressed with the accuracy. With some practice you can shoot one of these as accurately as you can with a scope. Both of these rifles are now topped with 18" Malcolm 6 power scopes with are correct for the age of the rifles (one of the problems of old age).
My third is a Browning Low Wall in .22 Hornet with a Leupold 3 - 9 scope. This rifle was made to be used with a scope and has no provision for open target sights. This gun is a real joy to shoot and will shoot 1.5" at 200 yds from a good solid rest.
The quality of Browning falling blocks and that of the Uberti is very high and I feel that you will be well served with either rifle. I am attracted to the Uberti because they are almost exact copies of the original Browning design where as the new Brownings are externally the same but the internal part are totally different.
You will love either one.
