FAL Bipod

I have a DSA STG-58 that came with a bipod. I'm impressed with the rifle over-all, but the bipod was the one thing I would not have bought if it wasn't a package deal.

Does removing the bipod:

1. change the rifle's balance/handling much? Right now it seems nose-heavy

2.does removing the bipod affect POI?

If it doesn't change the handling characteristics much and has no real effect on POI, then I might as well leave it on. Its a nice feature. But I like the looks and feel of the non-bipod FALs better...I dunno. I guess I should take it off and see, but I'm just lazy. ;)

Thanks
Mike

Take it off. . .

It won't affect your shooting. I also replaced the steel handguards with the Plastic DSA guards. The steel ones just got too hot during shooting a 20 round string.
