Fair Price?

I'm looking to sell a Stoeger/Uberti .45 Long Colt revolver, and I'm wondering what a fair price to ask would be.
I have no idea what the actual age of this gun is, and I know that there's a million random factors that affect a gun's value. It's in good to very good condition, and I'm selling it with a nice cowboy action leather holster and ammo belt.
Can anybody put me in the right ballpark?

Thanks, Zullo. Looking at some of the other posts here, it appears to be a Uberti Cattleman with the dull grey finish.

It will have two letters in a box on the right side of the frame, that's the date code. 400 is about right. If the leather is good quality it will raise the value, if it's just inexpensive leather it wont lower it much.:D

The Uberti Pistolero Model P in .357 with matte finish is listed at Buffalo Arms for $412. The .45 Colt would be comparable. Your used Cattleman could be worth $300-$350 I'd say, depending on condition.

Hawg - You told me where to find the date code. Any idea where I can look the code up to find its' date translation?

Right here:

Why isn't this a sticky?

Sorry, my bad. I was at work when you asked but Mykeal took up my slack.:D

I just sold a Stoeger/Uberti Cattleman Gunfighter, 5 1/2" barrel, .45 Colt, new in box, for $300 last month - I bought it last year on clearance at Wholesale Sports (formerly Sportsman's Warehouse) in Bozeman for $227.49.

So...

As I said earlier, it APPEARS to be a Cattleman, but there are no marks that correspond to the chart that was just put up. There are no marks of any sort on the right side frame, and the left side frame is stamped:
PAT.SEPT. 19.1871
PAT.JULY. 2.1872

The only symbol marks are on the right side barrel; a wreathed star followed by a shield crest, a space, then another wreathed star followed by the letters PSF.
Top of the barrel is stamped:
+STOEGER-ACCOKEEK,MD-A.UBERTI-ITALY+
And the left side of the barrel is simply stamped 45 COLT

Anybody know what that makes it?

It's a Uberti Cattleman imported by Stoeger. The date code should be right there by the proof marks. My Cimarron has all the Italian markings under the ejector rod housing. It should also have a CAT number on the right side of the frame.

What I listed above are the ONLY stampings on the gun. Anybody know where or how I can find a way to contact Uberti/Stoeger for info on this piece?
