i know gun prices are different in some areas but i have a sig 228 about 96%, shot very little with three factory 10 rd mags, and one 20 rd mag. also a sig cleaning kit and houge grip, box and papers. i was thinking of asking $475. also i have a beretta 92f 9mm stainless steel, italian made and one good looking gun. i have two factory 15 rd mags and three after market 15 rd mags, three sets of grips, box, papers, ect... $550 does this sound about right ??? i don't want to rip anyone off or get ripped off. thanks for any info!

KITT, how many rounds through the Sig? What shape is the Beretta in - you don't mention anything except it being good looking? How many rounds fired through these guns? Going by how you've described the Sig - I'd say its a fair price. I'm thinking your a little high on the Beretta for a 92f, but what kind of aftermarket mags do you have and what kind of grips are they? I'm baseing this off of it being in the same shape as the Sig (96%). For an example I just bought a NIB Beretta 92FS stainless for $475. and had a friend buy the same gun at that price also. Just my opinion - I'm sure you'll get others.

I think asking for any money for awfull guns is horrible! I think you should send them directly to me "for the children", and other safety reasons (which I will make up, er, tell you about later). ;) :D

All kidding aside, I think your prices are fair.

Guns cause crime like spoons cause Rosie O'Donnell to be fat!

I hunt, therefore I am.

both guns are about 96% the sig has about 600 rds through it and the beretta has about 500 rds through it. the grips for the beretta are the factory, a set of houge panels and a set of houge finger grip (my favorite). someone told me the italian made berettas were made better than the others, but the one i have is the only one i've ever seen. i'm selling to buy other toys!

Price also depends on where you live. Some areas have lower prices than others.

$450 for a used P228 seems fair. Be advised that police trade in can be had for about the same price with one preban standard capacity mag.

The Beretta sounds high. The factory mags add to its value while the aftermarket mags, unless they're Mecgars, don't add much. You might think of asking $500.

Check www.gunsamerica.com to get an idea of what some of the prices are.

Actually, since that Beretta is Italian made, 500-550 is a good price.. If I had the money, I would honestly want to buy it, and I already own a Stainless 92fS.. How old are they?

I paid $550 Brand New with Night Sights but only (2) 10 round factory mags.
The Sig sounds like a reasonable price.
