Failures to fire with NAA mini-revolver

Only when the round was bad. .22's are rimfire cartridges and not as reliable as any given centerfire - even .25ACP... shuddering. But these newer modern cartridges such as the Viper and Stinger are changing that. I dont think I have ever had a misfire with a Stinger.

Zero. Over 700 rds thru gun so far.

Definitely an always (that's why I have one.)

Mine has given me good service for many years - not a practical gun - but well built. I agree, 22 rimfire is not always reliable and you may get occsioal failures - but these would be much more sever in a semi-auto right?
To misquote Col. Jeff Cooper again... carry one if it makes you comfortable - but dont shoot anyone with it - it may make them very annoyed with you...

Life time garantee.

They probably would not honor it if they found out about my re barrelling :)

In the Magnums, the CCI Maxi+V has never failed me, ever. Other reports show a similar VERY high level of reliability. The new TNT variant is just a bullet swap, it should be the same cases and primers.

I can't say the same for the new Winchester Supreme black box. 33grain I think, nice advanced JHP design...but in my FA minis, the rim was so thick cylinder spin was sometimes compromised, and I found reliability issues in both my FA and NAA minis.

I suggest CCIs, in Magnums, +V or TNT.

In .22LR, I've shot a lot of Remington Yellowjackets and am impressed with their ballistics per NAA's charts, their accuracy, reliability and numerous reports of good expansion even in the shorter tubed minis.

If anyone is having ANY real problems with a mini - send it to NAA and they'll fix it.
If not - I'll take a lunch break and drive down there and talk to them about it!
