Greetings,
I live in extreme southeast alabama and 30 miles from my house in Georgia a new range complex has opened. American International Marksmanship Academy is 3000 acres and caters to military, law enforcment and civilians. So now I find out that they will be having F Class events and I'm ready to jump in.

Im seriously considering buying the Savage "F-Class" in 6.5 x 284 NORMA. F Class is primarily 600 and 1000 yards. Does any body have any experience in f class and opinions on the 6.5 x 284 NORMA?

Im thinking it must be a great caliber for F Class or Savage wouldn't offer it in this caliber. Savage offers their "F Class" rifle in 6.5 x 284 NORMA and 6 NORMA BR. Thanks for any thoughts on this.

great choice ,and with the right powder it won't be such a barrel burner.;)
F-Open shooters consider barrels a consumable, just like brass and bullets;)
If you want to be competive your going to have to get those 142 grain Sierra HPBT (MK) going fast.
