Extractor fell out of my CZ52. Common Problem???

Shot my CZ52 for the second time yesterday.
On the third round from the 6th mag it jammed. Stovepiped the empty.
Then I noticed that the extractor was gone. It was almost dusk and I couldn't find it. (I wanted to see the Pyrotechnic Show everyone talks about w/ these pistols) Didn't find it this mornng either.
The pin had worked up in the slide enough to let the extractor come out.
I was using S&B 85gr. FMJ.
Shot the CZ, my Makarov and 10/22 rotating between them and tapeing targets, etc.
Question is, has anyone else experienced this w/ a CZ52??
I ordered a new extractor, pin and spring today but is there something else going on here?
I found slight gouging on the frame where the roller on the same side as the extractor rides that wasn't there before yesterday.
Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Never had problems like that, in fact, my empties fly a country mile! The only problem I have is that the slide doesn't always lock back on an empty mag. Do you find yours as fun to shoot as I do mine? Mine is an absolute ball!!

It certainly is not a common problem and I had not heard of it before. Did you buy the gun new or is it possible that a previous owner put in too small a pin?

Anyway, if the replacement pin is not tight enough, you can use a roll pin or stake the pin in place.

Mine tried to depart once or twice...

But it turned out the pin wasn't staked in very well, after a few magazines, you could see it working it's way out. Some cleaning, Loctite, and staking took care of the problem.;)

tatters: Yes, It's a real 'blast' to shoot. I want 'more'. One mag failed to lock back slide. Ordered a new one along w/ extractor parts. Will compare and see if I can fix.
Jim K: Bought from SOG same time I bought my Bulgie Mak through my local dealer. Has 'crossed swords 53' on rt side of frame which means military issue / manufactured in '53 from what I've read on www.makarov.com
G98: Think may have been my problem also.

Noticed tonight that the 'trigger pivot pin' was also loose. Was worked out of the frame 1/8" or so. I had cleaned real good w/ 'CRC Brake Parts Cleaner' to get all of the cosmoline out and then blew off w/ air. Let dry overnight and then gave a good application of 'CLP' and slight 'Tetra Grease' on slide. Wiped off execess CLP of w/ cloth.

I now think that I may have 'Overdone' the CLP application.

I've never taken a pistol down beyond 'field stripping' for cleaning and I'm thinking that maybe I should take the CZ to a smith for a good going over.

Any other thoughts on this???

Thanks again,
Larry
