Looking at Ruger mini-14 rifles. I see what's listed on Rugers site but on galleryofguns.com there are more listed. Are these special runs done for them by Ruger? Also on a unique gun like the mini stainless w 16" barrel did this gun start off life as a full length barrel and get cut down to this or was it manufactured new?
 
Ruger offers a number of dealer exclusives, as do all the major manufacturers. Usually you will not see the dealer exclusives advertised on the manufacturers' websites.
