Exporting weapons without a licence

What is the crime for Thailand and US for exporting weapons without a license?
Can a licensed gun dealer sell a weapon to a man in Thailand? How a man from Thailand can ask to ship a gun to his country and what procedure should he go through?

The procedure to sell a firearm to someone in Thailand would be to find a licensed exporter and ship the firearm through that agent.

You didn't give details but this has a strong aroma to it. You're looking at either a scam or a set-up on these international internet firearms deals. At best you never see your money, at worst get to spend some time sharing a small room with "Bubba" or "Leroy". GW

I don't have a clue what the firearms laws in Thailand are like, but such a sale would need to comply with all applicable laws. On the US end, that means going through a licensed exporter. I don't know this for sure, but I think it's a solid guess that the dealer in Thailand would have to have some kind of license to import the firearm, as well.
