Experiences with Citadel Comander 1911

How are these compared to others in the 500 dollar range? Does Armscor provide a lifetime warranty on these too?

I don't have the Commander; however I do have the Citadel FS Tactical and the Citadel compact(Officers) both in 45ACP. I also have another Armscor 1911
FS in 9mm. These three pistols have functioned flawlessly right along with my Ruger Lt Wgt Commander and my Colt Lt Wgt Commander. IMHO for pistols in this price range I could not have done better.

I have a steel full size 9 mm Citadel. Not flawless but a heck of a deal for 329.00 a couple years ago.

I have the Citadel in full-size, officers model and commander in 9mm. The full-size and officers model shoot very well.My best 3 shot group has been around 1/2 inch. These guns are very well made. I have not taken the time to shoot the commander (but plan to in the near future). I just got the commander on Tues 3/12/19.

tipoc, Thanks for resurrecting this thread; as a long time pistol shooter, but recent renewed interest in 1911s, was interesting to read about the Citadel brand.

I have one of these. I paid $616, due to having to have it ordered from Legacy Sports.
