Experience with 10/22 Tech Sights?

I'm really considering progressing to a set of Tech Sights for my Rifle, as I really like the precise adjustment and better sight picture they offer. I'm just wondering what my fellow forum members think about these sights before I take the plunge. How they affected your accuracy, etc. And if it's not asking too much, measurements of groups at 50 yards After you installed them? The absolute best group I've gotten with the stock sights was a 3/4" 4 shot group. Also, one more question, which is better? The TSR100 or TSR200?
Thank you for any help you can provide!

I went with the TSR200 on mine. I guess I'll be the first to say that it won't effect your rifle's accuracy- it might help how you experience your ability to shoot well into small groups. But the rifle will shoot the same with any or no sights.

I kind of wish I would have waited to get home before answering your post, as I don't have any measurements at hand. It does extend your sight radius by 7+ inches. It puts the peep back closer to your peeper- which is always very good. I guess I could have gone with the 100 model, because once you get sighted in- you probably wont be tinkering with the sight adjustments all that often. My 200 seems quite well made, and installation was easy with all the holes lining up as they should.

I sighted mine in once on paper- didn't do so before putting on the sights. I don't recall what the measurements of the groups were. But it did win me the Rapid Fire class of the Tx running Target Matches.

Have the TSR100 on my 10/22 and love them. Work great; clearly well made; quick to get on target. An added plus is that they look great!

I installed the TSR100 sights on my 10/22. Personally, I liked the stock sights better, but I’ve left the TSR100 sights on. I have not really shot the gun since my first few range trips with the sights as I could not find ammo for over a year, so I’ve never shot the gun much with the sights. I can’t remember the last time I shot it. I think I put 100 rounds thru it last February when I managed to get 100 rounds from the LGS private stash. I have an installation video and a range trip video if you are interested in seeing them, I can post the links.

Well, what a coincidence, I've been watching your videos for quite some time! Thanks again for uploading that Sticky Mosin Bolt Video, Greatly helped my bolt operation. I'll watch your Tech Sights Video now. Thanks again!

Peep sights work really well for target shooting under good light conditions

They are not so good in low light hunting situations unless the apertures are quite large, and even then you lose a lot of your field of view

Hello,

I had some on a Ruger 10/22 I used for Appleseed.

They were very nice. My one caveat was that they needed enlarged. If I recall, I did enlarge the shorter-range peep.

Regards,

Josh
