having just bought a 640...i was carrying a charter 2000. obviously a diff in price as much as anyhting else..

at what point odes a gun become too expensive to carry....now that i got a 700$ gun im wondering about leaving it in the car at times when im not allowed to carry.

stolen is my biggest concern...and can guns be insured individually?

lot of money to be lost cuz some punk decides he wants to steal somethin on the seat and finds it in his pillaging...

if your afraid to carry a gun cause it cost $$$ leave it at home. I routinely carry a 1500-3000 dollar 1911 everyday.

a $700 dollar gun is not really that expensive to warrant individual insurance the price to insure it will quickly make it worthless.

Expense in a carry gun is not a concern. Having a reliable gun I shoot well is.

If you have to leave it in your car, you really need to consider a lockbox bolted to the floor or some similar protection. Regardless of cost, if it gets stolen, you've now supplied the criminal element with a weapon.

all of the above are concerns..i have no int in insuring it actaully..jus thinkin if it was such a thing...

yeah i know 700 bucks aint expen in the gun world but it wuld be a loss of a gun i like..and some dirtbag would get it as said..

i guess ill hafta take my chances..i think ill be lockin it in the trunk from now on instead of inside the car
