I don't see how anyone can think our debt can exceed our GDP and things are not going to fall apart. Our debt will be 2-3 times tax revenue, if tax revenue does not plummet as expected. No one can be in debt for 2-3 years income and come out of it without making huge sacrifices.

Americans live in fantasy land.

To keep this on topic(firearms), I hope I still have a rifle next fall.

This is the wishful rantings of an unreconstructed Soviet. If and when we fall, I predict Russia will have been become a barren wasteland, by their own doing, years before we start to teeter.
