I tried geting through to Algore's voice line. I got a recorded message from the DC phone company (presumably).
It said "The party you are tryng to reach is not available at this time. Please try your call later." MMMMMM, I wonder if his phones are melting?????

I finally got through on the Whitehouse comment line. I told the operator that I know that Bush won, and that Algore should concede for the good of the nation. I sent e-mails to both LIEberman, and Algore. More reports to follow.

Except that I WANT Gore to complain a little longer. This is the true face of this man and after two more weeks of hearing this loser pout, everyone should be thoroughly sick of him.

Having him bow out gracefully would be the good-sportsman, respect-for-the-law thing to do.

Come on Al! Complain how all THREE counts of Florida's ballots were wrong. Complain that the votes need to be tabulated accurately only in the counties where you think you should have done well, and that the rest of the state and the military ballots don't matter. Tell everyone in Florida how stupid they are that they can't punch a hole in a piece of paper.

Rage a little louder big guy. Show us your stuff.

This should keep him from EVER running for President again. Can you imagine the jokes in 2004?

I've sent e-mails to every democrat senator and every democrat congressman from Texas. Some of them I had to "fudge" my zip code as their site would not accept e-mail from zip codes not in their own districts. I don't believe that these elitists ever consider anything we commoners say, but we still need to inundate them with protests. If they get hundreds of thousands of hits, maybe self-preservation will take over.
 
Called my democRAT congressman last night urging him to do whatever he can within HIS party to urge/force algore to concede.

Doubt it'll have any effect on what's left of his brain... :(

DON'T pressure Gore to concede. :-)

He has lost, and I doubt that he is a threat to the Presidency any longer. But I don't want him to concede.

The more he fights, the more damage he will do to the left wing of the Democratic Party. The entire party may be smeared with this brush in 2002 and 2004, especially everybody who associated with Gore. (Dems who called on him to give up may be able to avoid this.)

Remember, when the enemy puts his hands in the air, it's considered very bad form to keep attacking him. Therefore, we should not want Gore to "surrender." We should use this opportunity to destroy the credibility of the Democratic Party, or at least its left wing.

I agree with Mikul and William A. Levinson on this. Let Al Gore and company continue there endless end games. It can only do damage, and hopefully irreparable damage to the democratic party as a whole. Those democrats that jump ship early will be seen as not really belonging there in the first place. Those who offer their total support will be colored with the same brush when the end finally comes. Let this soap opera run its course. It can be very irritating but there could be a lot of good come out of the whole process. Please remember the best decisions are made with careful thought, not from emotional bursts.
