Ever used your handgun for.......??

We see posts here, and on other forums frequently about carrying your handgun for protection while in the woods against various predators. Most every post mentions "two legged predators", has anyone here ever had to use your handgun in the woods (not the city) to protect/defend yourself and/or family against the "two legged predator"?? Let's hear your story.

I have only ever had to draw my handgun once against the sound of a bear popping his teeth in the bushes - s/he never came out of the bushes.

I have never drawn on anything two legged, but there has been a time or three I was glad I was carrying open in the field. Some folks just don't feel right to be around.

Generally this is a subject that we stay away from at TFL, and for a variety of reasons, at least in this format.

Members are certainly free to share their own stories, but we like to keep them in individual threads that are started by the member himself.

This is also really in the wrong forum.
