ever quit buying?

I just ordered my last revolver, actually my last gun period.
I keep saying that then I get a super deal, read an article and "Must have it", or just get weak and impulse buy.
I've tried to contain it to .38/.357 and only .36 cal BP revolvers. I have pretty much given up on .2's cause of the ammo shortage, besides I have several rifles and pistols in that caliber.
How do you control your purchases?
Have you said "enough already"?
This time I mean it! I'm just gonna shoot what I have!
It's either that or buy a new valut!
Oh man I went totally nuts with Airguns! Now there's a quick way to spend money cause they're so innocent and you always need a special one for special tasks.
Yep I quit, for real this time I promise!

Pretty much. There is one more that I want but I'm in no hurry to buy it. If I do decide to go for it I'm gonna sell a gun I currently own to do so. I did pick up a Glock 30 a few weeks ago though. A friend who has 3 or four said he wanted me to have one and sold it to me for $300. Truly too good of a deal to pass up. Not done, but done for quite a while.

I've given up on being a "collector" and sold off most of what I had at one time. I've replaced a few of them, ones I decided I really like. I still look, and might buy another one, but I'm more selective these days about it.

I built a huge walk in gun safe room.... best thing I ever did to curb my purchases... they are displayed on the wall in the safe room, & I had more than I thought I did... once everything was out of storage, the room was full ( silly me... I thought I had built the room big enough for lots more :o )

so there are still a couple spots open for guns I definitely want, but for the most part, I need to part with one, to make room for a new one...

so at some point in the future, I'll be to where I don't want to "exchange" anything else... then it'll be time to customize, refinish, & just shoot... I've already begun doing some cosmetic work on several, that are keepers & that look like they need some "new paint"

Slowed down considerably in the last couple of years. Bought 3 guns this year. All were guns I didn't have in my collection. I have one in layaway now but won't get it out until next year. Not anything that is catching my eye right now on the shelves. Plus I have a son that just entered college and a daughter getting ready to start driving, my funds are essentially tied up for a bit with college and car insurance...

BTW... I do have a spot on the wall for a 22 lever action, but I refuse to buy a gun in a caliber that is not reloadable or available... there are still others I can spend my money on...

I expect that someday 22 will get caught up, then either a Marlin or Henry lever 22 will find it's place on the wall... but for the most part I don't shoot much that's not reloadable anymore

I have about quit buying.
I don't NEED anything, I have guns to do all the shooting I am interested in and still have the guns that I used to be interested in shooting.

I sometimes think of something that would be nicer or better, but then I read the gunboards.
There is no make or model of gun no matter how fine that you do not see complaints about.
Either that or accounts of "good customer service" which seems to be defined as a willingness to sell a defective product and the ability to make you feel good because they will attempt to fix it.

I'm at a point I'm pretty selective in what I buy ... I am a " Revolver-A-Holic " have suffered from this affliction my whole life .
Last gun I bought was a nothing special GP100 Davidsons 5" great price and awesome shooter .

I slowed down buying after I got married... :( I've gotten maybe 2 new ones and sold several older ones within the past 3 years. Luckily no kids yet so I may still have time to nab a few more on my list.

I have guns that I haven't shot since the mid '90's, and I'll probably never shoot them again. I just don't shoot that often these days. At this point in my life, I know that every time I finish with a gun, clean it up and put it away, it may well be the last time that it ever sees a bullet down its barrel. At least from me, anyway.

I've bought only one revolver over the last 5 years, that being an older, used stainless 6" GP100. The others have been a couple of 1911's, a couple of Kahr CW's, and a couple of CZ's. I've also sold about as many.

As of today, I don't see a need or a desire to buy anything else. That could change by suppertime.

Not really... and my tastes are getting a lot more expensive. I have plenty of shooters, am now concentrating on the collectibles.

Opportunity came along not too long ago where I had a bit of extra cash and had the inkling to get another firearm. Thing was, after looking at many different firearms and platforms online and at the LGSs, I couldn't find anything that tripped my trigger, other than a Browning 16ga pump shottie. Then after debating with my self whether I really would use it much, I decided against it and went home. I don't think the fire has gone out completely yet, but it' not burning as bright as it used to.

I'm a sucker for a good deal...

I still look all the time. But, it has to be a good/great deal before I buy much more...

The last deal was a used Glock 19 for $325.00. That was almost an "olden days" price and I did get that. Did I need it? Nope. Do I enjoy it? Yep.

However, I stopped by the local gun counter the other day and started looking at over and under shotguns. I may not even have gotten started buying stuff...
