Escape From New York

Hello everyone. In about three weeks, I will be moving from the People's Republik of New York to Texas. I will be going to a little spot called Weatherford in Parker County which is alittle west of Fort Worth I think. I would appreciate any help in finding a place to shoot, and a place to shop as in gun stores. I will take all my toys with me, and I will not be looking back. Thank you for any help.

Afore ya head out, Gone to Texas as was once said, do a search in GENERAL for the following titles:

You know you're in Texas...

stuff about Texas.

Some advice if you are going to move to Texas

Rules For Texas

Memorize this stuff, there will be a test.

Try Ray's Shooting Sports and DFW Gun Club, both near downtown Dallas. Ray's has a huge selection of just about everything and DFW has a very nice range. I'm sorry, but I don't know of any closer to Ft. Worth.

Wolv314, I envy you.. I'm stuck here in the PRNY till I finish my grad degree. Not much longer though.. Texas is on my "list".

Wolv,

Ummm, is there any legal reason you can't get an absentee ballot and vote against Hillary and Gore in NY? If you understand the Electoral College system, you recognize that a vote for Bush in Texas is not as important as one in NY (Because he is going to win Texas anyway, NOT because NY is more important)

Just a thought

I have thought about voting by proxy after I move to Texas. Still thinking about it. I just do not want my vote to get wasted. New York is a very STRANGE state when it comes to voting.
