Hi,
first of all excuse my bad english :) I saw a topic concerning M1 rifles in .22lr some weeks ago here and you were talking about these rifles but noone was able to post a picture or to give details about this rifles. In germany (that´s where I´m living) this rifles are very common and popular because they´re cheap, reliable and fun to shoot :)
These rifles come with a very fine Trigger, a 5 round and 10 round magazine (15 round magazines are also available).
Here´s a picture of the ERMA EGM1 in .22lr

I hope I could help those who were talking about this rifle some weeks ago. Well, that´s for all, bye!

Btw. Great forum!

I see the occasional Erma M1 at gunshows. They must have imported them back in the '60s and '70s. Magazines are rarer than hen's teeth.

I've read that during WWII the Germans really like captured M1 Carbines (but didn't care much for the Garand). Carbines were something of a status symbol among German line officers and NCOs.

Sounds like they still like M1s in Deutschland. Thanks for the post MrWhite keep'em coming. -- Kernel
