After much searching and asking, I have been provided information on this obscure piece. Thank to Marsh out of Chgo: I really thought this was a "chain jerker" research, but thanks to Marsh it has been resolved.

Regarding the Little Ace pistol. Erl made two models of .22 pistols; the
Little Ace and the "Four Aces." As I recall they both had brass frames
and steel barrels. They were made from approx. 1960 to some time after
1964 when I left Chicago and lost track of him. They were chambered for
.22 Short and he did not advise using "high Speed" ammo in them as that
was his proof load.
The price IIRC was $14.95. The name of his business on Rte 53 was
"Hunter's Haven". He had hopes of opening sort of a hunter's gourmet
restaurant there also but dunno if he ever did. He had been run out of
Chicago for political reasons. As I recall, he was too damn stubborn to
pay off the police. He was a rather quaint individual but a good guy. I
understand he closed the place up in the mid-70's.

Little Lace Miniature Derringer

My husband has a Little lace. It shows EDL Svendsen F. A. Mfg Co. But it is not in Itasca, Ill. It is hard to make out the city. What we can read is ????rridge, Ill. (1764) 22 short bb C B caps.
Can anyone tell me about this and about how much it would be worth. Thanks

Besides the Little Ace and the Four Aces, Svendsen also made a little SAA-styled revolver with a spur trigger he called the "Pocket Pony"; this picture is from a Russian printing of Zhuk's "Pistols & revolvers", with the manufacturer shown as "ESFAC" (Erl Svendsen Fire Arms Corporation).

Blue Book of Gun Values, 28th ed. shows 100% (NIB) value of the "Little Ace" to be only $85. Apparently no collector value.

Regardless of that, these little guns will bring quite a bit more than $85 to the right person.

I have one of the 4 aces ,and would like to know if anyone might know what they are worth?

Is it worth that as a gun? No, but it is worth that or more as a curio.

I just received a picture from JD Wagers.
IIRC, the Little Ace and 4 Aces were made in Svendsen's garage in Itasca.
I'm not sure the Pocket Pony ever was produced, but the 4 Aces was eventually made in a .22 long rifle version. The rights to the 4 Aces were bought by Herman J. Seminiolo, and the .22lr version was produced in stainless steel. It may still be in production.

Revolver

Hi,

I've attached 2 pictures of a cased set of Erl Svendsen pistols I've had for a while that I thought might interest you. The revolver is marked Mod 1 along with it's ser# and Itasca, Illinois. The ser# starts with CS which I think means Cased Set and is the same for all 3 guns. BTW, the revolver is chambered in .22LR while the derringers are .22Short.
