Eric Bleicken for US Congress. Mass 10th

I just received a letter from the Committee to elect Eric Bleicken to Congress in the 10th Massachusetts Congressional District. He is a strong advocate for Second Amendment rights. I first heard him speak at the LARGO rally at the Bunker Hill Monument two years ago in April. It was the first rally for our gun rights and against the new assault weapon law in this state.
As I recall Eric is a former Navy Seal. He is a strong advocate for the Constitution. His E-mail address is bleicken@capecod.net. The Committee's address is 170 B Pleasant St., South Yarmouth, Ma 02664. 508 760-2045
Please send this along to any RKBA advocates that you know. I will post more information on this candidacy as it comes along. He did quite well in 98 with about $8000 and little support from the state Republican Party or the media.

Added to the TFL RKBA Voter Information List...

Can you pass on his website when he gets one, and also who is he running against?

Thanks,
Roon

He is running against first term Democrat William Delahunt. As near as I can tell Delahunt is a classic Massachusetts Leberal that marches pretty much in lockstep with the party of Ted Kennedy. I don't think Eric has any opposition on the Republican side yet. Another candidate to watch here in Mass is a guy name Morgan that ran in Western Mass last time out. As I recall he is a decorated Army veteran. His oposition is John Olver if he decides to run again.

There is a pro-gunner who is going to run against Cheryl Jaques (the author of the new MA law) named Earl Henry Sheelay. He is going to get my support.

Gun Control: The proposition that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her own panty hose, is more acceptable than allowing that same woman to defend herself with a firearm.

For those of you outside of Massachusetts State Senator Jaques is the darling of the anti gun lobby. For more information on the insidious anti RKBA bill that she helped push through here go to www.GOAL.ORG. Thanks for bringing up dear Cheryl. But is just before breakfast.
(I was suprised to see the Minuteman on the new quarter with a weapon in his hand. Its no wonder he wasn't kneeling with his empty hands raised in submission to the King.)

God Help Me I am from Massachusetts!

April 24 10AM-1PM
GOAL Gun Rights Rally
Boston (State House)
The Boston rally is to put pressure on the legislators to make necessary legislative corrections to Chapter 180 and other gun laws. A march around the State House will be followed by speakers on the State House steps at 11:30. Please plan to visit your legislators after the rally and let them know about the problems caused by the law. Some of them still have not even read this law. Can your club send a busload of voters?

Featured Speaker:
Roy Innis, Congress of Racial Equality.
Mr. Innis' loss of two sons to urban gun violence influenced his views on crims and victims' rights so dramatically that he became one of the most vocal and active advocates of Second Amendment rights -- especially decent citizens' right of self-defense. Come hear this inspiring speaker!

April 29 10AM-1PM
GOAL Gun Rights Rally
Hudson (Town Hall)
The Hudson rally takes place in the Governor's hometown, to bring the inequities of the new gun law to his personal attention. Worcester, Norfolk, and Middlesex county gun owners are invited to show strong support.

Featured Speaker:
Alan Gottlieb, CCRKBA/Second Amendment Foundation.
Alan Gottlieb is the Chairman of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms and the Second Amendment Foundation; author of Politically Correct Guns and Politically Correct Hunting; and the publisher of New Gun Week and Women & Guns magazine. Mr. Gottlieb has filed a lawsuit seeking to punish US mayors who file baseless lawsuits against gun manufacturers. Alan Gottlieb comes prepared to teach Governor Paul Cellucci what he needs to learn!
