One of the advantages to the EOTech is that you can have both eyes open while shooting, but does this cause a problem for shooters who are cross-dominant? I am just wondering because I happen to be one of those unlucky right-handed, left-eyed folks.
when sighting in my eotech on a beretta storm .45:
at short range 15-20 yards no problem either way 2 eyes or one.
at ranges 30 yards and beyond while making adjustments i found it easier to aim only w my right (weaker eye) but once the site was set i could still stay on target with both eyes open.
I am also cross eye dominant. What I do is on pistols is turn my head to the right to use the left eye. on rifles I just have to close the left eye, and deal with the lack of fiels of view.
