Rosie's WHOLE SITE is down not just the forum!!! They seem to have yanked it in response to the angry and passive-aggresive posts I and others on this and other pro-gun boards flooded it with. I have been condemned for using these tactics, and would like my day in court here. Here's MY side of the case:
1. The official rosie website promoted rosie's SHOW, which she has used as a vehicle to attack us via the nationally-syndicated airwaves to MILLIONS OF VIEWERS. This FAR outweighs the odd chatter on her board some of you have said we might "offend". I might give the wrong impression to a few anti-gun soccer mom's? Rosey's show is doing that daily to MILLIONS of them. The site was an effective form of advertising for her show and her agenda, generating viewers and therefore revenue for her and her cause. By taking said advertising off the internet, we are merely another effective way of hitting her pocket book. This is akin to bombing radio Bagdad during the gulf war to prevent enemy propagandizing.
2. The site had links you could hit to HCI, and featured an HCI gun with bar through it logo. This makes it a legitimate enemy target, not a civilian target. Every day it was exposing the whole internet to HCI and mmm propaganda. By taking this site down via our lawfully given input, which the site SOLICITS, for as long and as often as we can, we are exercising our legitimate right to self defense and removing unsitely socialist probaganda. I know for a FACT that impressionable kids read that board. She has told them that gunowners are criminals and should be locked up. Brainwashing the next generation is DEFINITELY not good for our rights.
3. We had a blast doing it, even cracking on rozie's weight. For those of you who missed it, part of the POINT is that it is as absurd to persecute her for her weight as it is to persecute me for my lawful beliefs.
So tell me, does lawfully "crashing" rosie's site do us more good or harm?
