My better half and I have a Kanji tattoo on us that's the meaning behind a phrase we say to one-another - "Never In My Life". ref:
We've been wanting to get that on our carry guns for a while, but we never seemed to be able to find the right guy to do it.
Out of a bit of a fluke at work, I tripped into Gary DiCenzo, dba ZipGraver:

And, our slides were done yesterday. I think he does awesome work, very quickly, and VERY reasonably... He uses a CNC diamond engraver, not a laser:
