Dear all,

I do own an Enfield no4 Mk1 from 1944. I have the B-square mount but now I am keen to use the original scope equipment. The original US style mount or UK style mount together with the related scopes Lyman Alaskan or no.32.
Could you pls. give me some advice were to find these original parts and actual prices?

As an alternative where can I find pretty good copies? In Germany is a new made UK style mount available but I would love to have the original one.
Thank you for your kind help

Unfortunately these never came in any quantity to the US as surplus, separate from their rifles.

A good resource for information, though rarely updated is:

The original *32 scopes are uncommon in this country. Ebay has one listed at the moment, but beware of fakes aged to look as original:

Sarco has/had a fair reproduction scope and mount kit. I do not know if they still carry them.

Numrich also carries these reproductions:

The original WW2 Enfield sniper slings are available here:

T sniper mounts are very expensive, in many cases they cost more than the rifles themselves. the problem with mounting on enfields is no matter what mount you use you will no longer have a cheek weld. you also have to get some kind of cheek riser for the butt stock.

If you want to venture a bit I think SK makes a non intrusive scope mount forthe Enfield.

I have one on a Model of 1917 (and a 1903). They are solid and work well, the sight line is high.

I can float my head for bench shooting but you do not have a cheek weld so for offhand its either an adjustment or an add on cheek riser
