Enfield No.4 Mk II

Try Springfield Sporters, Empire Arms, Southern Ohio Guns (SOG), Century Arms, and one or two of the Lee-Enfield discussion forums, it seems there's always a No4Mk1, No4Mk1*, No4Mk1/2, or No4Mk2 for sale by one of the members.

Although, for being as cheap as they used to be, it looks as if the supply isn't getting any better, and prices have been climbing on the Lee-Enfields slowly but surely.

I'm up to 4 of the darned things now, and am looking at a fifth, they kinda grow on ya after a bit...

I saw a horrible sight today: in our evidence room, there sat a No. 4 Mk 2 that was seized in a raid. Pretty good shape, 90% of the finish, no magazine, waiting to be destroyed. I begged and pleaded for a chance to purchase it to no avail. At least I might get to shoot it before it becomes dog meat.

Keep looking, I happened to stop by a pawn shop in time to pick up a mint No. 4 MkII with bayonette for $125. The bore is as shiny as a babys butt and it shoots 2in groups with mil surplus ammo. Some days it really pays to get out of bed .....best of luck.
