I ordered some parts for my NTM No.4. For some reason I didnt order the firing pin wrench and I would like to remove the retainer and clean out all the cosmo inside. Does anyone have the dimensions for the firing pin reatainer wrench?
ID, OD, and thickness of the prongs/splines? I will make one up out of hex rod.

You don't actually need to remove it, just unscrew the bolt head & pour alcohol into the hole a few times.
But if you want to fabricate one here's the official instructions.
(1) Machine a slot 3.18 millimetre
(1/8 inch) wide, 4.76 millimetre
(3/16 inch) deep, in a 15.24 centimetre
(6 inch) section of 9.53 millimetre
(3/8 inch) diameter steel tubing, with a
1.65 millimetre (0.065 inch) wall
thickness;
(2) Weld two pieces of 3.18 millimetre
(1/8 inch) diameter drill rod,
7.94 millimetre (5/16 inch) long, into
the slots in the tubing; and
(3) Turn the outside diameter of the tube
at the drill rods, down to
9.53 millimetre (3/8 inch).
That should give you all the dimensions.

A 6mm deep well 1/4" drive socket works well. Use a dremel to cut the ears.

"...clean out all the cosmo inside..." Just drop it into a vat/tub/container of mineral spirits and leave it for 24 hours. No need to disassemble.

I ended up making a wrench up out of hex stock. Worked like a charm. This gun sat for many years and I wanted to make sure everything was cleaned out and had a fresh coat of oil.
