Was at the laundromat this weekend. Was wearing my "Firearms Coalition of Colorado" t-shirt and my wheelgun.
The owners of the laundromat know me, and they know I carry (they'd have to be blind to not know), so no problems there.
Anyway. One of the other customers, a young lady in a Notre Dame t-shirt, kept glancing at me.
While I was unloading my dryer, she came up to me.
"Excuse me..."
Oh, great, I thought. Another Soccer Mom to deal with.
"Yes?" I said, with my polite and friendly face attached.
"I don't usually talk to people I don't know, but I just wanted to say 'more power to you' for wearing that shirt and carrying a gun. That's a brave thing to do these days."
(blink) Damn, she just derailed my train of thought.
"Uh, thanks for the encouragement," I replied. "Some of us still believe in the concept of self-defense."
"And the Constitution, obviously," she said, smiling.
Now why doesn't CNN interview people like that?
