Emotion without logic fizzles fast!

We had an interesting topic in church today that got me thinking. The quote was "emotion without logic fizzles fast". The discussion centered around the group mindset and action. Examples given were the cult groups, and physical lust as something that wasn't there for the long haus and it got me thinking about our nemisis at the MMM. Could this be true? If you think about it the appeal is purely emotional, facts are ignored
attacks on anyone or anything that speaks logic. If so, what's our best defense? Will the group disband at some point because there is no logic to fuel the emotion? I bring this up because at this stage they have been made out to be the point man, I realize that they are not the only threat to our liberty. Ok you deep thinkers, put the cap on and give us strategies to fight cults->

They won't go away any time soon. The Commie News Network and all the other sensationalists in the world keep coming up with statistics. Numbers can be made to say whatever the person wants them to say.

It works like selective hearing. When I tell my husband that it is time to mow the lawn he hears "It's time to dink with guns in the shop." :D

Hubby, :p That'll teach you!
