Electoral College polls show a Bush Blow-out

I note on this forun that everytime a new poll comes out, it gets posted and batted around. The one common thread is they seem to be popular vote polls.

Just found a poll that continuously tracks the electoral college numbers. For those of you who have forgotten, popular vote is important only in individual states. Each state is a "winner take all" vote. While the popular polls paint a horserace (self-serving by the media, in my opinion) polls based on the electoral college paint a radically different picture.

Popular polls are interesting but the electoral college is where we get our president. BTW, this poll is continuously updated.

Just checking out that site and after clicking on a few specific states, it looks like the data is from June (at least the few I looked at). IOW, pre-convention data, yet you say it is continuously updated.

Am I interpreting this incorrectly?
 
Looks like the update varies by state. OK was updated in June while North and South Carolina were updated in August. I put in a email for them to explain.

Just visited the site and saw a note that said they intend to update the electoral college poll three times between now and the election.
 
FOX News is conducting a poll that does just this. They have mentioned it twice on FOX News Sunday. I would go to that web site and see if it is available.

Thanks for your comments.

We are the only polling firm in HISTORY to poll all 50 states for the
Electoral College vote. It is extremely expensive to poll every state and
get a valid sample size (500-1000 adult respondents). Not only that, but it
becomes an issue of resources. It takes a tremendous amount of time to call
a sample size that large in every state.

For that reason, we started another 50-state sweep this past Saturday and we
will begin posting results this week. We will also conduct two 50-state
sweeps in October (some states with key races will be polled more
frequently).
