Elected Office

I was ranting about RKBA issue the other night and my wife looked and me and ask if I were planning on running for office. When I ask here why she said that she stated that if I feel so strong about the issue why not attempt to get into a position that I could really do something about it.
So how many on here either are now, have been or are thinking about running for an elected office?

Well, I know I have, many times. I just have been wondering where my efforts would be best utilized.

When the house member is elected by running unopposed in my district, I feel someone should run against him ... and I nearly did, but I was a bit late out of the box.

Been thinking of running for Sheriff, tho ... but I think I'll move to a smaller coutnry first :)
 
I have thought about it many times... unfortunately I can't afford the cut in pay right now.
