Ejection problem

heavier bullets, better grip, replace recoil spring, etc, plenty of possibilities, but bottom line is that your ammo is not generating enough energy to counter the recoil spring.

Have you had problems with factory 115? Have you tried factory 125 or 147?

Unless you are allowing the thing to waste all of the energy throwing the gun around, by not restraning it strongly enough, (limp wristing), this is the most likely way to fix it, adding more recoil to the ammo, or getting a slightly lighter spring. I suggest fixing the ammo, not the spring.

Move up the ladder, closer to mid-point and see how you fare. If factory is working for you then your load is the first and easiest component to address. (do the simple things first - usually the least expensive too) Don't go making any changes to grips, springs, etc., at least not yet.

You didn't say what powder you are using? Not sure it matters but it piques ones' curiosity.

Good luck. Be safe.

I'm using IMR SR4756 powder have been using this can a little while.just wondering if the brass is at it's max for life, been reloaded about 6 times.

I would suggest you create rounds in .1 increments until you reach 4.8-4.9 grains and see where that takes you. A positive in the equation, the bullet is leaving the barrel, so things could be worse. You can only make progress from here.

Be safe.

Pj2 it seams to me that you should give us all the info you have first.

Lets not forget to clean the pistol and clip.

I've come across a problem concerning ejection. It will not eject completely, any ideas?

I'm sorry, but this is the firearms equivalent of "my car makes a noise when I turn"...

The more information you give, the better we can understand what is going on.

If your gun runs ok on factory ammo, and you are running starting loads from a reloading manual, carefully increase the powder charge in small increments until the ejection problem goes away.

The minimum loads in the manuals are NOT the minimum that will satisfactorily run ALL the different guns. Its just the point where they started working up loads that ran in their TEST gun.
