Let the folks know the size is 9 1/4". I have hade one on each of my Ammo plants for years.

I also think it is important to note that the inside lip is 9 1/4

It is also important to let folks know when we sneak it out from the wife's pots and pans we are extremely sneaky but to remember to be sneaky when you return it. That is when I was caught.
I found my own at the Salvation Army for 4 bucks.

You could add some foam insulation to the inside of the lid and make it even quieter. Just cut either 1/2" or 1" thick foam slightly oversized and friction fit it inside the lid. Easily removed before returning it to the wife.

you are a brave man, back when I boiled my cases to clean the the wife made me buy a walmart pot and boil them on the fish fryer outside. If I had stolen one of her good pots or lids I would still be bleeding

Or you could do the same thing as when your old car gets rattly and noisy.
Just turn up the volume on the radio.
