EFMJ, thoughts?

Have not seen any recent threads on the expanding full metal jacket round.
Did anyone recover bullets? Did they do what they were supposed to? Anyone using it for carry now? It sounded like it definately had potential as a good defense round.
 
My only thoughts are that they should hurry and start making them in 40S&W and 45ACP.
 
. . . . and in .357 magnum. Incidentally, I just checked www.ammoman.com -- they were the first I found with the 9mm EFMJ -- and they do not have any other calibers in as yet.
 
Eric at ammoman said they ran some rounds through, 9mm and they performed just as advertised and all expanded.

I asked if they did any testing on accuracy. He said they didn't.

I'd like to know if you'll notice any difference in group sizes between regular FMJ to EFMH?

Sounds like with the accuracy that he's describing + the full expansion Eric at ammoman witnessed + the great price, this new design sounds very attractive.
