Some years back, I owned a tricked out motorcycle that I parked in a fenced in, well lit, but enclosed area at the side of my home. No garage.
On it was a silent alarm that transmitted a signal to a receiver I carried.
One night, the receiver sounds off.
I jump out of bed, grab my snubbie (no, the 5 shot) and run to the window that overlooks the bike.
It's a tall floor to ceiling window, and as I throw back the drapes, the bad guy looks up and sees this naked fat guy with a gun in his hand.
I still don't know what scared him more, being towered over by a naked fat guy, or the gun, but he certainly took off like a scared rabbit.
