Eezox Oil

I am interested if anyone has any first hand experience using Eezox oil? It claims to clean lubricate and prevent rust.I am more interested in it as rust inhibitor as I already use different products for cleaning the bore.Any input good or bad would appreciated.
 
I really like Eezox. It is a decent, but not great, cleaner. It is a good lubricant when applied properly. It is an outstanding rust preventative. For info on its rust preventative qualities, see my article.

i've hear of eezox, but as a lube and cleaner?

you can't have a true lubricant protectant and a cleaner in the same product. the elements counteract each other.

i use tw-25b lubricant after InSight gun cleaner. both are non-toxic and very effective. bestdefense.com has them.
 
Eezox is an outstanding rust preventer (which is what you asked). So is Breakfree CLP.

Don't buy anything from spammers. tw-25b may be a good product, but bestdefense.com is a spammer.
 
I have used EEZOX on all my guns for almost 9 years and have never had a problem. I even like the way it cleans if I clean my guns as soon as I get home. As a lube it works with all my handguns as well as long guns. Once the solvent evaporates and it dries it protects as well as any thing I have tried.

I have several antique black powder guns that I never shoot anymore that are now hanging on the wall. After about 5 years in a humid climate there is no sign of rust on them. This is just my $.02 but try it for yourself, it's worth it
