Educate me

Can someone point me towards a good website or book where I can familiarize myself with the internal operation of a handgun? I've been looking through Wikipedia, but theres only so much on there. I really want to get to know all the different parts and their functions. Thank you in advance.

Among handguns, revolvers are drastically different from semiautomatics, and there are significant differences among semis, as well.

those are Jerry Kuhnhausen, one of the best - they are shop manuals like the gunsmiths use - you won't get better drawings and details
