Eddystone P-17

I have a Eddystone 1917 model rifle. I would like to fit it with a new stock. Does anyone know if a P-14 stock will fit the P-17? Also does anyone know what the going price is for a stock that will match my Eddystone? I've seen a few P-14 stocks but I am not sure if they will work. Thank you.

I have a 1917 as well. As far as I know the only difference between the 1917 and the 1914 is calliber. 1917 is 30/06 and the 1914 is in .303 british. The stocks SHOULD be interchangable.

As someone who made the same mistake, it's an Eddystone M1917 - the "P" designation is British, we use the "M".

Stocks are available from Gun Parts Corp., assuming you want a military stock & not a sporter. The stocks are the same, some of the internal parts are different.

If you want to keep this rifle "correct" in an historic sense, you'll need a M1917 stock, not a P14. The M1917 stock will have different cartouches (stampings).
