"In a significant reversal of a policy that rankled many sellers, eBay has ended its prohibition on listings of firearm parts and accessories, and is now allowing sellers in the hunting category to post images of guns to illustrate the products in use, though the sale of the weapons themselves is still not permitted."

I guess they cant stand losing money enforcing a silly policy.

I noticed they started selling parts again about 6 months ago. They never really stopped selling parts just the type of parts.

Let's hope that they finally figured out that the "have gun, . . . do travel" group is a whole lot more honest, moral, ethical, and friendly than all their tree hugging left coaster friends.

May God bless,
Dwight

I used to there every day, looking for parts. I don't poke around there even once a week, now. They must have figured out that scaring away the people who go looking specifically for gun parts also impacts their sales of everything else.

I am not sure how it would be that the folks at eBay would determine something like that especially when it isn't necessarily true. Plus, they don't have any way to know if the buyers and sellers are honest or law abiding.

More than likely, the issue is profits. It would not be that they were losing money, because they weren't, but because they were failling to earn it. There is a significant difference between the two concepts which is probably why this has been years in the making.
