Easy for the Spouse

Saved my Spouse from having to Christmas shop for yours truly.

I got a good enough deal on this S&W Model 36, no dash, Chief's Special. She may still may have to find another gift for me.

Far from great condition but decent enuff for a shooter or carry gun. Locks up tight and in great mechanical condition.

The Model 36 is one of the wonderful old revolvers S&W has decided to reissue in their Classic Line. This one was less about 1/3 the price of a new one and does not have the key hole. :)

If I hadn't just bought a couple new Smiths (627 and 638), the 36 and the 10 from their classic line would have been mine, but they are on my list.

It improved somewhat.

I am not a fan of snubs or J-frames but I love the good, honest wear. If you aren't the salty/sweaty type (I mean, as long as the revolver doesn't rust), I wouldn't change a single thing.

All that wear is just part of it's character and any kind of a refinish is just going to get...
...worn.

Nice snag!

Has some wear to it. How does it lock up?

I have a Model 37 in mint condition, unfied new in the box, that I might carry sometime.
