Excellent work !!!

Beagle,
You never cease to amaze me on the great runs you get. I can tell by the surface appearance, how good they are. Now, whenever I run lead, I wind up having to recycle about a third.

And the Ideal 311413
What can you tell me about this projectile/bullet? What is it's service? ....

Thanks for your posts and;
Be Safe !!!

It is a 169gr gas checked bullet for a .30 cal. I'm going to test it out in my 30-30 and see if it is accurate. I found an Ideal mold for it from an estate sale and thought it might be fun to test. I'm not sure of its original intention.... I would suppose it was just to punch paper.

when you get a chance, will you show a pic of some of your different "copper" colored ones loaded into a brass case? I am not sure if you even reload or not;), but if you do, it would be interesting to see the contrast.

Yeah, okay.. I'll prolly load some up later this week. :) I got some brass around here somewheres.

These do look a lot like copper, but I'll have to take a pic of them with some brass......

you don't HAVE to actually load them, you can just set some cases next to them in your display case

Sounds a bit more like it to me....the only loaded rounds I have seen him post up were of his "Turtle Buster's"....;);)

I'm thinking the shelves in that display case have to be some old recycled 1" thick bullet proof stuff in order to hold up the number of coated he has sitting in there. :D:D

Steel doors recycled from the University surplus auction. :);)

I'm gettin' there..... I'm gettin' there! It's planting season! Ain't you fellers got no gardenin' to be a doin'?

Hey Beagle333

Nice lookin boolits!! the ole 413 will hold it`s own until `bout 1700 ft. then as the nose is un supported it`ll get a bit squrrily .

Look on Castboolits & search "squib boolit".

The real glass case..... unveiled here!

This is where most of em end up until they get loaded. Notice the ziplock bags and large pill bottles behind the lamp on the right side of the third shelf down from the top.
That is the waiting area for bullets to get loaded. :)
