I hate getting swept up in media sensationalism and contributing to a general panic......but this hurricane is gearing up to potentially be one of the nastiest storms of the century if it regains strength as it pushes north and meets up with a cold front moving south. We shall see...
In the meantime, last year us here in the northeast were rocked with Irene and another storm that caused massive flooding and power outages. Most of us were caught off guard.
Not this time - Im fully loaded up on water, dry and non-perishable foods, baby food & formula, supplies such as batteries/flashlights and a backup mini generator (my Dodge truck has an outlet) in case the sump pump loses power.
Anyone else on or near the east coast prepared for potentially days without power and massive flooding? This one could get nasty....
