early voting in texas?

Does anybody from texas know when it starts? This is one election that my wife and I are not going to miss,too much rides on this one.I have told all my gun owning friends to get off their butts and be sure and vote this time.If they don't then they aren't any better then the liberal anti-gun *******s.Its getting to the point that it may come down to something really bad.I pray that I am wrong about that,but as they trained me to kill people several years ago,I haven't forgot how. I won't go quitely into being a slave on my knees. sj

If I remember right, it starts 3 weeks before the election. Any registered voter can use it. No requirements about being out of town on election day or anything. I know that the wife and I always take advantage of it. It's great being able to walk in, vote, and walk out in about two minutes. (Well, being in a small county helps, too!) All you Texans, remember you have to be registered by the 10th!
