Early Christmas!

GunsnRovers

New member
I just got back from 2 weeks in Oklahoma for work.

Got an early Christmas present. My M28 came back from the gunsmith after being refinished. Also, my USFA Single Action came in. Awesome way to follow up two long weeks!

Thanks.

Work was done by Art Bitterman at Aardvark Arms in Warner Robbins, GA. I know Art through a shared love of old Land Rovers and guns.

I think he did nice work.

GunsnRover - so that 'splains your name. My first car was a used '83 88" Series III. My second was a '67 109" Series II. My brother has both now and a few others - including our father's 67 Doormobile. I still have a 67' 88" Series II tucked away up North. Great cars but I think I'm getting too old for them (need softer ride, superior heater, AC, you can hear the radio over the engine and it's kinda nice to be able to talk without shouting at the other person).

Here's Art's basic price list:

I got a few things done and he priced me out a package.

As for the Rovers, my daily driver is a 1964 88" IIA. It's certainly not for everyone, but I love it. I think folks mostly gripe about the 55MPH speed. As long as you're not in a rush, it's not a problem. :D
