Eagle SS hi-cap magazines

Has anyone used these 17rd. mags? Do they function flawlessly?

I just bought a bunch from CDNN for my P226 and the baseplate does not clear the factory grip bottom edge. Also, the feedlips are going to need work deburring the edges. The baseplate material looks kind of cheap to be able to sustain the spring pressure from a full load of 17.

Seems like the $14.99 price is too good to be true?

I have purchased a number of different really cheap magazines over the years, and almost all of them have hit the trash can. I just tossed some steel AR magazines that I've had around for a number of years, finally couldn't see what I was saving them for. For my money, USA, Triple-K, Eagle, RamLine, etc. magazines are mostly junk. Will you find an example that works? Sure, but if you're betting your life on them working, those aren't the choices I'd make!

I gotta agree with johnwill. The 226 has been around a while. If you look around you can find factory mags. I've got three older promags that function well in my .40 229. I've also got a large cardboard box full of cheapo mags that are crap. I've actually started buying factory high caps for intended new guns I wanna buy before I buy tne gun.
