Eagle Arms

I just bought an Eagle Arms (division of armalite) ar 15 for about $600. Any opinions? I think the only difference between the Armalite is the chrome lined barrel but for $600 I thought it was a great deal. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Doesn't sound like you got ripped off. Armalite is a good make, and very reliable. $600 is, last time I checked, a good price. Unless you plan on shooting corrosive ammo, leave your rifle in the rain for long periods of time, and never clean the beast, the chrome lining is not needed. I prefer the unlined barrels for accuracy.

You got a fair deal(in some parts of the country, a great deal). the Eagle Arms rifles are for all intensive purposes an Armalite without some of the "frills", as well as a little less attention paid to the finish.
