Are they always so difficult to deal with?
Has anyone had any luck going to stright to Tan about EAA?
I have been having a problem with a pistol and they have given me nothing but trouble.
Great gun, lousy importer.

To hear it told around here, they only have a Customer Insulting Department. The only "servicing" you get from them seems to require the customer to bend over.

Exactly!

I sent my Witness Compact in three times for the same problem, receiving the same reply in turn... "Test fired, OK".

Test fired my %#*

They are either too incompetent or unwilling to fix it, so they return it with the same "finding" each time. I get the feeling they look at it, chuckle to an equally stoned coworker space-cadet, and type up their "findings"... which ofcourse will probably always be "Test Fired, OK".

I'm convinced that if I plugged the barrel with JB Weld and replaced the firing pin with a toothpick, I'd still get "Test Fired, OK" in return.

My experiences would echo those posted above. I have had much more pleasant and professional responses for Tanfoglio in Italy. www.tanfoglio.it

Like the pistol (mine is a .45) don't really like EAA. Their email responses to various questions I have had were unprofessional, rude, and with a great deal of sarcasm. The first couple times I shrugged it off, but after a couple more emails their opinion of me as a customer really began to show. Customer service for me was sorry. Like I said, I had much more good experiences with talking to Tanfoglio directly.

Good luck! Mike
