I'm interested in a compact, light-weight, corrosion-resistant 10mm autopistol (I won't mention black-bear defense for fear of starting another flood of postings on the subject . I figured the Glock 29 was about the only game in town, until I heard about the EAA Witness. I like the CZ-75 pistols, so I did a little research, and these look like they might be just what I'm looking for (and relatively inexpensive as well). I prefer the traditional double-action to the Glock trigger system (I feel safer having a longer, heavier double action trigger, and I also like having the option to cock the pistol to get a light trigger pull).
Anyway, my questions:
- Has anyone used the Polymer (P-Series) Witness Compact pistols? What did you think?
- What is the "Wonderfinish" you can get on these?
- It looks like there may be a magazine/grip extension that essentially gives the compact a full-sized grip, but its hard to tell from the info I have. Is this correct?
- Anyone know a good source for ordering these?
- Any other comments on the Witness Polymer pistols, especially in 10mm?
Thanks.
Doug
